Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 2 cups  seedless grapes
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • ½ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • ½ cup  dark chocolate quinoa puffs

Method

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside
  2. Take the washed and dried grapes and skewer each one onto a toothpick or bamboo skewer.
  3. Place them on the lined baking sheet and put it in the freezer for at least 1 hour, or until the grapes are frozen solid.
  4. Once the grapes are frozen, melt the dark chocolate chips in a double boiler or in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave until smooth and melted
  5. Dip each frozen grape into the melted chocolate, making sure to coat it completely. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off and then place the grape back onto the lined baking sheet.
  6. Repeat, with the white chocolate chips, melting them in the same way as the dark chocolate
  7. Sprinkle the unsweetened coconut flakes and dark chocolate quinoa puffs over the top of the chocolate covered grapes before the chocolate sets.
  8. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the grapes, using a spoon or piping bag.
  9. Place the baking sheet back into the freezer for 10-15 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened
  10. Once the chocolate has hardened, remove the grapes from the baking sheet and serve immediately.
