Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Almond Flour
  • ½ cup protein powder
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Toppings
  • 1 cup Melted Dark Chocolate
  • Sprinkles
  • Caramel

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a donut pan with coconut oil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, applesauce, almond milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each mold about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the donuts comes out clean.
