If using dates, make sure they are pitted. Slice the frozen bananas into smaller chunks for easier blending.
In a blender, combine the almond milk, hemp seeds, dried blueberries (or dates), chia seeds, ground turmeric, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
Toss in the frozen banana chunks.
Pour in the 1/2 cup of water to help thin out the smoothie to your desired consistency.
Blend all the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure everything is well mixed.
If the smoothie is too thick, add a bit more water or almond milk until you reach your preferred consistency.
