Simple Candy Cane Oreo Cookie recipe


  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder 
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 stick of unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 egg (room temperature)
  • 4 crushed candy canes
  • 1 cup of crushed oreos 


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl add all your dry ingredients and combine. 
  3. Add in your butter and eggs. Stir well until dough forms. 
  4. Fold in your candy canes and Oreos.
  5. Scoop and roll dough, about 1.5 tablespoons of dough into balls. Use your palms to flatten the balls slightly. 
  6. Bake for 11 minutes or until slightly golden brown on the top. 
  7. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
