gluten free Soft Almond Scones


  • 1/2 cup of chopped raw almonds 
  • 1 1/2 cups of almond flour
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp of xanthan gum 
  • 1/3 cup of milk 
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp of honey 
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil


  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  • Using a large mix bowl, add all the dry ingredients together. Stir well. 
  • Add in the wet ingredients slowly and mix well. The mixture will turn into a sticky dough. 
  • Using damp hands, roll out 8 balls and place them on your parchment paper. Slightly press the dough down on the top. 
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden. 
  • Let the scones cool down for 10 minutes before serving.
